Operational IT
The below
award was given to the SQOM for
excellence service and
achievement in the IAF (Israeli
Air Force). The award specifies
the ability of the system to be
connected to other participants
and other systems (such as
systems that may come with new
air crafts).

The
Israel Air Force
Commander’s award is
herewith given to
Dr.
Yishay Spector
For
his part in the team
that defined and
developed a system for
computerizing the flight
squadrons - the PAMOT (SQOM).
PAMOT
is a computerization
project automating the
work processes in the
flight squadrons,
enhances their
efficiency, and links
them with the IAF’s data
bases. The
system creates a
uniform, timely and
reliable knowledge
picture, in the squadron
itself and with other
connected participants. PAMOT
creates effective tool
for the operation and
management of IAF’s
primary source of power.
Its implementation
brought a breakthrough
in managing of the
flight squadrons.
For
his initiative,
persistence and
professional skill, as
demonstrated in the
project development, he
is now awarded with the
IAF commander’s award.
